Excellent food at a good price, with 5* service and attention that would make many of the supposed great restaurants in this country envious.

Good food! Great atmosphere! Honest house wine. Portuguese food made with care. The house specialty dry soup is a good starter, but it's a dish that needs to be reserved.

Another little gem in a village nearby Viseu. The food was simple and absolutely delicious. We had roasted chicken with roasted potatoes, and pork with potatoes which cost us only 7/person. The restaurant was renovated from a stone house which made it very interesting and elegant at the same time. All the drink (water, sparkling water, sprite, coffee, etc) cost us 1 max each. After the meal, we took a walk through the trail which was well marked all the way. We passed by numerous of home garden grape vines, fig trees and apple trees. It was lovely and relaxing. Highly recommended.
